Live In Expectation
Expect greatness in your life.
Watch me as I discuss my August blog.
When you live in expectation, you have a positive mindset. You stop doubting what you can’t do and start accepting what you can. We should expect nothing but the best from God because we are His children. Which also means, we are supposed to obey His word.
What are your expectations? What are you expecting to happen in your life? How do you let go and accept what will be? Do you struggle with it? I know I do sometimes. We’re human, we don’t always have it all figured out. The good news though…God already does. He knew us before we were formed in the womb. He already knew what we were going to look like, our personality, what makes us laugh, what makes us cry, what motivates us, our destiny.
To the small business owners and entrepreneurs, living in expectation not only applies to our lives, but also applies to our businesses. What goals have you set for yourself to ensure your business is growing? Are you living in expectation that your business will be successful? When you are creating your business plan, or any daily business goals, you should trust that what you set out to do is already designed to bring greatness. Have a positive outlook on your business and live in expectation that your success comes from the work you put into it.
We should also live in expectation of our relationships. This includes, family, friends, co-workers, and romantic relationships. Our expectations of those we have relationships with should be inspiring. We should accept and respect each other’s differences. Knowing that each interaction with someone is meant to bring lessons of joy and happiness, as well as disappointments. This is why we should live in expectation that some relationships are meant for a season, meant to teach us lessons, or meant to last a lifetime.
Life in general can be challenging, however we must find a way to take those challenging moments and find the lessons in them. We should live in expectation that no matter what comes our way, good or bad, all will be okay because we are living our lives in expectation of nothing but greatness.
